The Trekker is probably the best known hiking boot among mountaineering enthusiasts.

    For almost 40 years, Sidas has been a leading brand in the market for insoles. Sidas, also known by its former brand name “Comformable”, was founded in 1975 in France by three ski instructors and positioned itself primarily in the flourishing ski market. In 2003 the company was taken over by three other executive directors. They were given the opportunity to create a five-year plan to focus on new technologies, to enter new markets on every continent, and to create a new factory.
